Comments: I am two years tardy in writing a glowing review for Dr. Sugarman & co. He was the attending ortho at Lenox Hill Urgent Care in the West Village when my husband shattered his ankle nearby in a bike accident in Feb 2021. Dr. S had a very human, as well as clearly expert, touch in a tough situation; ultimately, for surgery, he handed my husband over to his ankle-focused partner (Dr. Daniel Seidman). I, on the other hand, turned to Dr. Sugarman for a meniscus fix a month later later--and appreciate that surgery was his idea of last resort (he is conservative in the best sense). From start to finish and afterward, he and his whole care team were great--very hospitality-driven, said no one ever about a medical practice-- and the results for this fifty-something have been solid. I am forever grateful to his and his partner's care of me, my husband and finally, my mother (who broke her foot and was cared for by Seidman) in the spring of 2021.
